Red-Carpet Brawl 2 Recap: Molly "The Fighting Irish" Mando vs. Erica Roachcha

In a powerful match fueled by personal stories and community purpose, Molly Mando and Erica Roachcha went head-to-head at Red-Carpet Brawl 2, each representing a cause close to their hearts.

Molly Mando, a University of St. Mary’s Law School graduate and lifelong Leha Boxing trainee, stepped into the ring for MD Anderson Cancer Center—a tribute to her mother’s battle with stage 4 breast cancer. “MD Anderson has not only prolonged my mom’s life but improved the quality of it,” she shared. Boxing, for Molly, is a full-family experience and a critical outlet for her own mental health.

Her opponent, Erica Roachcha, a hospital compliance officer, represented the Miracle League of San Antonio, an organization that empowers children with special needs to experience the joy of community through baseball. Erica described her training as “aggressive but perfect,” noting how boxing improved both her physical and mental well-being.

After three high-energy rounds, Erica Roachcha earned a unanimous decision victory. In her post-fight remarks, she celebrated not just the win, but the opportunities the Miracle League gives kids like hers to grow and be included.

This match showcased two women fighting with purpose—and heart.
