Quajardo vs Davis
Red-Carpet Brawl 2 Recap: Luis “El Matador” Guajardo vs. Luis “Damita” Davis
In a special feature bout full of experience, energy, and heartfelt causes, two longtime boxing enthusiasts faced off in the ring for more than just glory.
Luis “El Matador” Guajardo, an independent mortgage broker and 13-year veteran of the Leha gym, fought for the Leha Family Foundation to support mental health awareness. “It’s time we end the stigma,” he said. “Mental health affects everyone, and the work this foundation does to educate and support our community is something I’m proud to represent.”
His opponent, Luis “Damita” Davis, is a South San Antonio native and longtime business owner who’s trained with the Leha team for two decades. Fighting for the National Alopecia Areata Foundation, Davis brought a deeply personal mission to the ring. “This disease has affected my family since childhood,” he said. “I want to raise awareness and help fund the research that could lead to a cure.”
After three spirited rounds, Luis “Damita” Davis earned a unanimous decision victory. In his post-fight remarks, he called the experience “a blast” and thanked his wife for getting him into boxing years ago. “I never thought I’d do this, but here I am—and I’d do it again.”
Two fighters. One name. One unforgettable bout.
