Jamar “Mr. Energy” Ransom, Chief Wellness Officer at The Lend Company and former Division I linebacker, stepped into the ring to fight for the Vietnam Army Grunt Museum. A passionate advocate for preserving veterans' stories, Jamar dedicated his performance to honoring the sacrifices made by those who served. “It’s thrilling,” he said of stepping into the ring. “You learn what you’re made of when you push past your comfort zone.”
Facing him was Scott Bridges, a director at USAA, representing the Leha Family Foundation in support of mental health. A four-year member of the Leha gym family, Scott brought discipline and determination to the fight, highlighting the critical connection between physical training and mental well-being. “You don’t play boxing,” he said—“and the family around Leha is incredible.”
After three hard-fought one-minute rounds, Jamar Ransom was declared the winner by split decision, with a pivotal knockdown in the first round.
